A man who had to be dragged out of Whanganui District Court by several police officers and security staff after his bail was declined two weeks ago apologised for his actions on Tuesday.
Michael Luke Schrieber, 20, entered the dock in a restraining belt and handcuffs, wearing a shirt that said: "I'm not trying to be difficult, (it just comes naturally)."
"Mr Schrieber wishes to apologise for his behaviour is his last appearance," defence lawyer Anna Brosnahan said.
Schrieber's last appearance was on charges of wilful damage and breaching a protection order, but there were four new charges: threatening to kill or do grievous bodily harm, breaching intensive supervision, another wilful damage for smashing the court cell window, and two counts of assaulting a police officer. He pleaded guilty to all charges.
Judge David Cameron convicted Schrieber and remanded him in custody for sentence on August 1.
