A Whanganui man has admitted impersonating others on the phone illegally.
Jarred Munro appeared in the Whanganui District Court on Tuesday where he pleaded guilty to three counts of using a phone for a fictitious purpose.
Judge Dugald Matheson said Munro was "being a nuisance and misusing a telephone by contacting the victims and giving them information that was incorrect, inappropriate, and downright illegal".
Charging documents show Munro called one victim on February 8 pretending to be her flatmate and "instructing her that she must move out of her address".
On February 9 he called another victim, impersonating their landlord, saying the victim must move out of their address as well.
