The man accused of killing Auckland jogger Jo Pert is facing a further 12 charges relating to other victims and potential victims in the hours before and after Ms Pert's death, it can now be revealed.
Suppression of the charges against Tevita Mafi Filo, 24, was today lifted in the High Court at Auckland by Justice Lang.
Filo has been in police custody since January 7 following the death of Ms Pert on the same day.
Ms Pert was killed on Shore Rd, Remuera as she went for a morning jog. Filo is charged with murdering the mother of two.
Today it can be revealed for the first time that he is also facing 12 other charges for crimes alleged to have occurred in the hours before and after her death.
