Anyone wanting to use an i-Pad or a touch screen phone can learn how in Taihape for free.
On Sunday there will be a Try Out Technology session at Taihape Library.
It marks the end of Adult Learners' Week and will be an opportunity for aspects of the new digital world to be explained and taught. "Tablets, iPads and smartphones are easy to use, but often we need someone to show us just how easy," says Angela Coleman, the library information officer.
She works at the Taihape Library on Sundays and can discuss technology options, as well as helping people get phones and other devices set up and working. She also manages the Computer Hub in Marton, teaching skills and inspiring people to access the digital world.
Taihape Library also works in partnership with Ruapehu REAP to provide support for computer users.
