Late-night shoppers evacuated from Whanganui's Trafalgar Square shopping centre

Christmas shoppers were out in force at Trafalgar Square on Saturday.

The last-minute Christmas shopping frenzy at Trafalgar Square had an extra bit of craziness on Saturday when the fire alarm went off about 9.30pm. The late-night shoppers were evacuated from the complex while firefighters checked out the cause. It was a false alarm.
