A celebration of community artwork is drawing to a close.
About 15 students of Community Education Wanganui classes have been displaying their work at UCOL's Edith Gallery for the past week as part of the mid-year exhibition.
Community Education manager Sian MacGibbon said the exhibition included work by students of the art, woodwork, sewing, raranga (flax weaving) and drawing classes as well as music.
"We do this twice a year, in the middle of the year and in December," MacGibbon said.
"We've had an excellent reception. Our opening night was very busy and we've had a steady flow of people through. Lots of people have been coming in wanting information about courses."
