Bulls School's Moovers and Groovers were returning to their town on a high yesterday.
The team of nine, with teacher coaches Shannon Skelton-Morris and Leigh Hanson, competed in the Jump Jam North Island Regional Competition in Tauranga on Saturday.
They came second of eight teams in the novice Year 7-8 section, and were also judged the best new school for 2016.
Mrs Skelton-Morris said getting the team there was a lot of work for coaches, the school, the children and their parents. All the parents went to the competition.
"They certainly made their voices heard. They were so supportive of the team throughout the entire build-up and event."
