The headmaster of Wanganui Collegiate School has appeared in court this morning on a drink-driving charge.
Chris Moller, 53, appeared in the Tokoroa District Court for sentencing with one count of excess blood alcohol.
Collegiate School is a state-integrated coeducational, day and boarding secondary school - popular with the well-heeled and well-connected - and is affiliated to the Anglican church.
Collegiate's School Board chairman Brad Gay and College Board chairman Martin Gray issued a joint statement on Tuesday.
"The boards are aware of the offence and we take the matter very seriously.
