This year's Oar Inspiring fashion show will feature some unusual, four-legged models.
Four adult dogs and three puppies will take to the catwalk to show off the latest in "doggy wear" from Animania for the discerning pooch: rain coats, hi-viz vests, jumpers, life jackets, and even fashion wear.
It's the first time Animania has taken part in the show, which will this year be held on October 4.
Animania manager Julie Overton said the dogs belong to people who have bought dog clothes from the store.
"We asked them if they'd be interested, and most of them jumped at the chance.
"All these dogs are pretty used to wearing clothes and having lots of people around."
Ms Overton said the dogs will be walked across the stage by their owners, to keep the dogs as relaxed and comfortable as possible.
Laurie Broomhall, from the Oar Inspiring organising committee, said last year's Oar Inspiring show was fantastic.
"And this year will be even better - we have such a variety of entries."
There will be 20 different sections in the show, including Wearable Business and the ever-popular Chronicle Creations. Proceeds go to the Wanganui Girls' College rowing squad.
