Trick-or-treating, face-painting, games, and a haunted tour of Queens Park, it's all happening in Wanganui for Halloween.
On the back of last year's highly successful Halloween event, Mainstreet Wanganui has decided to throw another Halloween party in Wanganui's central business district.
It all kicks off at 3pm on October 31, with trick-or-treating for toddlers, followed by all-ages trick-or-treating from 3.30pm-5pm.
Elise Goodge from Mainstreet Wanganui said 25 businesses in the CBD had signed up to be trick-or-treating venues.
"This means kids will be trick-or-treating in a safe and familiar environment, and won't be knocking on strangers' doors," Ms Goodge said.
