It's music designed to help you leave your troubles behind and it's coming back to Whanganui.
Sam Manzanza and the Afrobeat Band are in town next month to play the Whanganui Musicians' Club.
The Wellington-based musician will be performing on May 6 and is promising to entertain.
"It's music for people to dance to and enjoy," Manzanza said. "It's happy music. When people come to my concerts, they come to feel good. They forget their worries."
Originally from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the guitarist, percussionist and singer has been living in New Zealand for 29 years but has toured the world with his music.
