The Whanganui Regional Museum winter holiday programme was a family affair last week with parents and grandparents joining their children for handcraft activities.
Programmes director Riah King-Wall said it had been a "great week" of holiday activities with families joining the handcraft workshops.
"It is really nice to see families working together on old-fashioned handcrafts and really enjoying it."
The Friday workshop was Sew Your Own Badge Day with a range of recycled fabrics, buttons and bows available.
Greta Gill, 4, joined the workshop with mum Nicky and brother Toby, 6, creating two badges using pink and purple colour schemes.
