WANTED: Builders, plasterers, electricians, painters and decorators, flooring contractors.
The catch? It involves a European holiday.
A woman who moved from New Zealand to France says she's fed-up with French workers and is calling for good ol' down-home Kiwi tradespeople to work in Paris on renovating her house.
Pauline Hampshire, who has lived in Paris for 20 years, has listed her old three-storey house in a village outside Paris on the Australasian builders wanted website Builderscrack.co.nz for a full-scale renovation.
In her ad she says Kiwis have such a great work ethic compared to France.
"Tradespeople here can do good work when pushed, but can be very unreliable and hard to manage," she said.
Ms Hampshire is offering to pay and provide accommodation for suitable New Zealand workers.
"If they do a great job and finish on time, we will throw in a two-week tour of France," Ms Hampshire said.
"We heard there were tradespeople looking for work in New Zealand, so hope this will be a win-win," she said.
