A new state-of-the-art depot is allowing Goodman Fielder to finally bring all its Wanganui operations under one roof.
The depot has been built by Bartley Property Investments and spokesman Brendon Bartley said the company would retain ownership and lease the building to Goodman Fielder.
He said the project cost about $1million.
Goodman Fielder lower North Island transport and depot manager Steve Corkran said the new site represented another stage creating several "super sites" around the country for the company.
"It's the first one in the region and brings together both dairy and bakery depots," he said.
