Choirs from three Whanganui schools will compete in the New Zealand Choral Federation's Kids Sing festival next week.
Choirs from St George's, Whanganui Intermediate and Mosston schools will compete along with a Bulls School choir and one from James Cook School in Marton.
The festival will involve seven primary school choirs and more than 250 students from around the region.
The festival alternates each year between Palmerston North and Whanganui and this is the second year the festival has been held in this district.
Each choir will present a programme up to 10 minutes in duration.
