Mrs Morris has five staff, but that number will swell as election day draws closer.
"On election day we'll have about 200 staff working at voting places throughout the electorate. Then we'll have about 30 people working at headquarters and other people working out in the electorate."
Mrs Morris said the current focus for the headquarters was organising staff for voting places.
"We have to make sure we get the right people," she said.
The next big push for the electorate staff comes when ballot papers are released. Mrs Morris said security for the papers would be tight. They will be kept in a locked room, to which only key electorate staff and security staff would have access.
"We're also expecting a big rush on September 11 when advance voting opens," Mrs Morris said.
"Last time advance voting was stronger than we expected, so this time we're prepared. This time you don't need a reason to cast a special vote. Anyone can vote at any time between September 11 and September 23."
