Early morning fires in Marton treated as suspicious

A series of suspicious fires in Marton early on Wednesday morning have sparked a police investigation.

Fire crews from Marton and Bulls were called to a series of spot fires in Marton Park around 3am.

A Fire and Emergency spokesman said there were at least five fires along the roadside and across the park.

Police are investigating the suspicious fires.
