Detours and delays for new year road works in Bulls

Resurfacing work on State Highway 1 at Bulls will cause closures and minor delays for three weeks in January.

On January 7, work will start on the section of road between Fagan Street and the SH1/3 intersection in Bulls.

Work will take place overnight from 6pm to 6am. Outside of these hours the road will be open with a 30km/h speed limit.

The section of road between Daniell St and the SH1/3 intersection will be fully closed between January 7 and January 15 with a detour taking traffic through Criterion St.

From January 16 to January 22, a stop/go system with a 30km/h speed limit will be in place.

These detours and delays are expected to add no more than five minutes to journey times.

From January 22 to January 29, road maintenance is planned in Bulls on SH1 Bridge St for road patching.

Work will happen between 6pm and 6am with a stop/go system and a 30km/h speed limit between Gorton St and the Bulls Bridge.
