When 18-year-old Jane Lehmann completed her first aid course in March she never expected to have to use those skills on her own mother.
Jane and her mother Lilli were in town on May 27 when Lilli started feeling ill.
"I was feeling dizzy and I had had a horrible headache all day, but that was not unusual for me," Lilli said.
She was able to lie down on a bench at the ANZ Bank and soon felt well enough to continue with her errands.
But when the pair walked out into Victoria Ave, Lilli collapsed, lost consciousness and started projectile vomiting.
