Whanganui's Commonwealth Games gold medallist Gary Anderson was back on top of the podium again at the second round of the Trust House North Island Cycling Series in Martinborough on Sunday.
Defending Masters 2 individual champion, Anderson was representing the local Velo Ronny's Masters 2 team, and was first home in a field of more than 70 riders for his grade on the 82km course.
Anderson was second at the first round on September 17, with the win moving him back to the lead of the Individual General Classification, while the Velo Ronny team climbed to third in Team Series.
They were runnersup in the 2016 series.
Second individual home was Thomas Boeschenstein (Optimal Performance) while third was Huib Buyck (Total Home Theatre), who won the opening round.
