Police are attending a crash near Taihape. Photo / Bevan Conley.

Emergency services were called out to a crash involving two vehicles on State Highway 1 just north of Taihape.

The incident occured at the intersection of Pohe Road around 6.35am.

A police spokesperson said one person received moderate injuries.

The crashed caused one lane to be shut for vehicle removal following the incident.

NZTA is advising both lanes have been opened.
