There were 39 new community cases of Covid-19 in the Whanganui region reported by the Ministry of Health on Sunday.
This brings the number of active cases reported in the region to 372.
Eight people were in Whanganui Hospital with Covid-19.
Nationally, the ministry reported 3650 community cases of Covid-19.
Throughout the country, 546 people were in the hospital with Covid, 10 of whom were in intensive care.
