There are 45 new community cases of Covid-19 in the Whanganui region, according to the Ministry of Health.
The ministry reported on Friday there was one person in Whanganui Hospital with Covid-19.
Nationally, the ministry reported 4869 new community cases.
Throughout the country, there were 370 people in hospital with Covid-19.
The ministry also reported the deaths of 16 people with Covid-19.
