Covid-19 Omicron update: 41 new community cases in the Whanganui region

There were 41 new community cases of Covid-19 in the Whanganui region today, according to the Ministry of Health.

The ministry also reported four people were in Whanganui hospital with Covid-19.

Nationally, the ministry reported 3235 new community cases of Covid-19.

Throughout the country, there were 356 people in hospital with Covid-19.

The deaths of five people with Covid-19 were also reported today by the ministry.
