People revelled in catching up with old friends at the Hurleyville School and Districts 125th Jubilee last weekend.
"Everyone just sat down and talked and talked and talked," jubilee committee chairman Bruce Fowlie said.
He called the weekend "a cracking success" and said everyone had raved about it.
People came from the United States and Australia as well as all over New Zealand.
There were about 100 for a mix and mingle on Friday night, 200 for speeches and photographs on Saturday and 140 for the dinner that night.
A jubilee cake was cut, South Taranaki mayor Ross Dunlop made a speech and Whanganui MP Chester Borrows helped Catherine Koubaridis unveil a World War I roll of honour.
Hurleyville School closed last year.
