The River City Christmas Market is back for a second year - and it promises to be bigger and better than ever.
Organiser Darryl Mallett said the market on Sunday had been sold out for several weeks, and there was a waiting list for stalls.
"We have well over 100 stalls, so it will be much bigger than the Saturday morning market. More than half of the stalls are from out of town - you'll be able to buy things that you wouldn't normally be able to in Wanganui," Mr Mallett said.
He said there would be lots of craft stalls, food and entertainment, in the form of local singer-songwriter DC Harding and other musicians.
A cruise on the PS Waimarie was also sold out - and rumour has it Santa will be on board.
