Organisers of tomorrow's Anzac Day services in Wanganui are anticipating big crowds for the dawn parade.
In recent years numbers at the service have continued to grow, with last year's being one of the best attended in the country.
Dave Large, secretary-manager of the Wanganui RSA, said if the weather played its part they were anticipating a similar turnout.
The parade will leave from in front of the War Memorial Centre in Watt St at 5.30am, marching up the hill into Queens Park, and gather around the cenotaph for the commemorative service.
Mr Large said the RSA's guest tomorrow would be Commodore Wayne Mackey of the Royal NZ Navy, general manager strategic projects and director commercial services with NZ Defence Force.
