An insight into a long-standing Whanganui computing business which has moved with the times is the focus for the Whanganui Chamber of Commerce's September Business After 5 (BA5) event.
New Zealand Computing Solutions (NZCS), which was started by Greg Nixon in the early 1990s, now has two arms: software development and an IT engineering department. They work with small to medium sized businesses throughout New Zealand.
As well as an overview of the company's work, the BA5 event will include a demonstration of a web-based application NZCS has developed.
"From our perspective, Whanganui is a great place for digital businesses," Whanganui Chamber of Commerce chief executive Marianne Archibald said.
"The sector is growing and our affordable lifestyle and fibre network make this a great place to work from.
