Life partners Diane Hay and Ian Loveridge are now business partners of a new Whanganui mowing and property maintenance company, Mow-It Ltd.
Mr Loveridge worked at Bunnings city store for nine years before starting up Mow-It in May last year. He always had an interest in small machinery and working
outside so the business was the ideal fit.
But as the business has grown, so too has the need to have a helping hand. Ian has now been joined by his partner, Ms Hay.
"I've just left my office job at Guthries Auto Care, after 19 years there, to join Ian.
'I've always had an interest and passion for small business accounting. I was responsible for debtors, creditors, wages, cashbook and IRD returns, and this gave me the insight to run our own business," she said.
