The Home of Cycling Charitable Trust has a five-year partnership with the Bank of New Zealand.
Despite not having all its funding in place, the trust's $28.5 million facility will begin construction shortly, with significant funding already contributed by Sport New Zealand, Waikato Regional Council, Waipa District Council, Rotorua District Council, The Lion Foundation, New Zealand Community Trust, First Sovereign Trust and the Perry Group.
Home of Cycling chief executive Geoff Balme says he is delighted to have BNZ on board as one of our major sponsors.
"BNZ has an excellent reputation for supporting its local communities and we are confident their investment into the Home of Cycling will bring enormous benefits to cycling at all levels."
Fundraising is ongoing and Balme says other sponsorships have been secured, or are currently being contracted, and they will be announced in the coming months".
