With the impressive baking and sweet-as brunches at their established cafes drawing in crowds, the owners of Winona Forever, Major Tom, and Little Sister have just opened the doors to a new spot in Freemans Bay.
Owners Aaron Carson and Francesca Mazza (who're big fans of The Cure) say they love their new space on Napier St "because it’s tucked away and is a bit of a hidden secret". They also live on the same street and adore the area.
"We're surrounded by a lot of busy people and we wanted Friday I’m In Love to be both an oasis from the office and an extension of it depending what our customers need," explains Aaron.
"Beautiful art, big cushions, greenery and hand-picked music playlists but also lots of charging outlets and different options for seating. You can totally escape into your own world here or share the vibe."
Friday I’m In Love is sure to become a neighbourhood favourite with a simple yet delicious menu, daily specials, Coffee Supreme, a vibrant blue interior and doughnuts, slices and meringues galore.
Their regular menu features a range of benedicts, a tasty herbed scramble and buckwheat crepes which come complete with yoghurt pannacotta, a buckwheat crumble and poached pear... Just make sure you visit with an appetite.
