Renee Stewart doesn't mind living out of a suitcase - for now at least. The 24-year-old jet setter has recently completed a three-year degree at the respected London Contemporary Dance School in July, and is currently based in Los Angeles working with Jacob Jonas The Company.
"I'm heading back over to London for a month for some projects there as well," says Renee. "I'm in transition on where I want to base myself geographically, so for now I'm just enjoying living out of my suitcase!"
She recently made a pit stop to New Zealand, catching up with family including supermodel mum Rachel Hunter. Featuring in our party fashion shoot (out Wednesday), Renee danced her way through summer's most languid party dresses - and shared some of her favourite party memories.
What is the most memorable party you have been to?
I've been to some amazing parties, but there's nothing better than when a party provides an In-N-Out Burger truck! It's so good.
What in your opinion makes a party unique or special?
The best parties always have great music, an awesome group of people, and good food and wine.
How will you be celebrating New Year's Eve this year?
I'm going to be completely honest. I haven't even thought about it yet. Hopefully somewhere warm!
As a dancer, what type of music do you enjoy dancing to the most?
I love all genres of music and I can dance to any kind of music, it just depends on how I'm feeling. When I'm in the dance studio, James Blake, Jamie xx or any other kind of electronic music - it's always my go to when I'm coming up with choreography or just improving my routines.
What is your favourite fall back party dress and why is it special to you?
I always go for my simple black long slip dress - it's made by a brand called Flannel, and it's my go-to dress. It can be worn to a fancy party or a casual party and that's why I love it.
