"I hardly ever eat at home so I have a number of favourite restaurants in my arsenal. When I'm on the Shore, I frequent Madam Woo, Tok Tok, Burger Burger and Poke Poke (basically any place with a name that repeats itself!), and when I'm in the city, I'm a huge fan of Clooney and Amano."

Kelly Coe from Augustine
"I have been to the new cafe Winona Forever a few times lately and it was amazing. I had the Super Paleo Bowl (a gado gado paleo-ish bowl with fresh shredded vegetables, cured salmon, avocado and a peanut and tamarind sauce) and while I am sooo not paleo, it was incredible. The food presentation here is like a work of art, and the cabinet is full of sweet treats that you just can't walk past. Service is quick and easy and it all tasted amazing. Every dish that came out was Instagram-worthy!"

"My favourite place for some R&R is Fort Greene. They make the best iced coffee in summer and a perfect flat white for the rest of the year, not to mention, they build the best sandwiches in Auckland."

"We make all our important business decisions over the fried chicken at Bedford Soda & Liquor. It's a handy walk from our Ponsonby Rd shop. In fact, we decided to take the lease over because of said chicken!"

"It's pretty hard to beat the Orphans Kitchen house-made crumpets served with honey from their rooftop hive, with a nice warm mug of their manuka tea."

"Cafe Viet in Grey Lynn has superb Vietnamese food which I love. For something not so local, I love the Sawmill Brewery in Matakana. Its fabulous luxe rustic combo make it a great place to visit and the slow-cooked food is delicious."

I'm often at the Sills + Co Herne Bay store which means you'll likely find me lunching on the run. My go-to is Five Loaves Cafe where I grab a flat white and stuffed baked potato to take away. They also have great pre-done dinners for when I'm caught short after work. I usually have my griffon dog Monty in tow, as he likes to visit the Five Loaves' resident griffon."
