With an over-saturated market for online shopping more prevalent than ever, the task for retailers now is to take their in-store experience to another level.
Known for its luxurious offering of wardrobe favourites to cherish forever, Newmarket stalwart Muse Boutique, owned by Olivia Vincent (pictured outside the store) is expanding with the opening of a second boutique in Ponsonby.
Interior designer Rufus Knight adds his distinctive polish to the new store, having created some of the best retail spaces in New Zealand for brands that include Lonely, Twenty-seven Names and Curio Noir.
He was also behind Muse Newmarket’s recent facelift, featuring its piece de resistance, a red marble counter.
Part of Muse’s highly visible new spot on the corner of Ponsonby Rd and Tole St, will include a fully boxed space front window that allows for monthly installations that highlight the inspirations behind its diverse collections each season.
The new boutique offers customers a sophisticated retail experience, says Rufus. “The refurbished space aims to create a serene backdrop to allow Muse founder and buyer Olivia Vincent to explore her evolving vision of contemporary fashion.”
The new boutique celebrates today's opening with a fresh delivery of favourite staples, including Diane von Furstenberg, Tibi, Self Portrait, Kiwi designers Georgia Alice and Maggie Marilyn along with new acquisitions Khaite from New York and Sykes from London.
