If you missed the At The Beach: 100 Years of Summer Fashion in New Zealand exhibition at the Maritime Museum, you have a second chance to look back with The Shrinking Swimsuit exhibition. Highlighting the shrinking profile of swimwear over the past 100 years, 25 of the most fashion-forward suits have been selected from the original exhibition and will be on display across two containers at Te Wero Island, February 26-March 6.

WATCH IT
Dior and I
Head to a special screening at Silo Park of this highly renowned fashion documentary, which documents Raf Simons as he works on his first Dior collection. The Silo Markets will also be set up with street food vendors and a selection of crafts and clothing from 5pm, February 26. (Film starts 9pm.)

Handmade with Love In France
This fascinating film focuses on the Parisian ateliers and artisans who create couture garments for the likes of Dior, Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent. Watch it at the Auckland Art Gallery Auditorium on February 28, 3pm.

WALK IT OUT
Not to be missed, New Zealand's Longest Catwalk will take over 120 metres of Queen St, with a free for all, new-season fashion show on Saturday March 5 from 12pm-1.30pm.

ETHICAL STYLE
Shop with a conscience at the night market at Victoria Park Market. On March 4 from 5.30pm, a screening of the ethical fashion documentary The True Cost will begin at 7.30pm. Please bring a gold coin donation, first in, best seated. The following day, from 9am-2pm, there will be a sustainable market day, highlighting local sustainable and ethical brands.

Heart of the City's 10 Days of Fashion in the City begins on the streets of Britomart with The Fashion Sessions on Thursday February 25, where Kate Sylvester, World and Zambesi will host back-to-back runway shows along Tyler St. Guests are invited into the designer's Britomart stores for pre-show drinks and canapes from 5pm. Over the following days, Trelise Cooper, Juliette Hogan, Taylor and Ted Baker will also put on shows and presentations in Britomart's Atrium on Takutai while Kathryn Wilson will show at Seafarers Rooftop Bar. Limited seating is available for those who buy a $35 ticket, which includes a luxury goodie bag. IT'S VINTAGE, DARLING!
Enjoy vintage fashion at its finest at Thursdays on O'Connell: Vintage Fashion Edition, an evening with looks from Tango, Hudson and Strangely Normal showcased on the street. Plus there will be burlesque dancers, live art, music, and dining and specials in stores. Thursday March 3, 6-9pm.
