Part of the new wave of “"social supermodels", American model and Victoria’s Secret Angel Taylor Hill has just been announced as the new 'face' of Topshop. She appears in the new autumn/winter campaign photographed in New York by Giampaolo Sgura and styled by Topshop’s creative director Kate Phelan. Here's what else to know about this rising star:
1. The 20-year-old model has over 4million followers on Instagram, and has walked in shows for every top brand including Versace, Fendi, Dolce and Gabbana, Chanel, Miu Miu, Ralph Lauren and Balmain.
2. As well as fronting the new Topshop campaign, Taylor appears in the latest Miu Miu campaign and was recently announced as the new face of beauty giant Lancome.
3. She makes a cameo appearance in upcoming film The Neon Demon, starring Elle Fanning as an aspiring model in Los Angeles who gets involved in the dark side of the industry.
4. Taylor's model BFF is fellow Victoria's Secret Angel Sara Sampaio , but she is also good friends with Stella Maxwell - who was discovered while living in Dunedin.
5. She wore a specially designed Topshop gown to the Met Gala in May, made using 20 metres of silk black tulle and inspired by the dress Taylor wore to close the Topshop Unique show in February.
6. She's a Vogue favourite, appearing in an online shoot where she was compared to Audrey Hepburn in the film Funny Face, and described as having "an intense beauty and a goofy, endearing charm".
