Ingrid Starnes has been making special bridal pieces for friends and family since the New Zealand label began in 2009. Fans of her elegant dresses would often ask her to tweak existing shapes and designs to suit their wedding day.

After five years of refinement, today marks the official launch of the brand's first ceremonial collection. "We've been making a small number of bridal gowns for quite a few years now," says Ingrid, "so it was a natural progression for us to venture into bridal. We've learnt a lot about what works and what people love."

The new Ingrid Starnes Ceremony collection is a considered selection of 13 romantic, elegant silhouettes that have been tested and developed through the brand’s custom bridal process. Each piece is “beautifully constructed and made from a stunning cloth selection featuring liquid silks, cotton silk broderie, drapey chiffons, luxurious lace and soft suiting”, says Ingrid.

The range is available to view by appointment at the Vulcan Lane store, where each bride and bridesmaid piece from the capsule collection will be available to order from a range of fabrics.

"Each Ceremony bride/bridesmaid piece is made to order and our custom consultant will assist in helping you to select from the styles and beautifully curated selection of fabrics. There is a fitting to ensure beautiful delivery. There are samples across a few sizes of the collection to try and to bring your bridal party in to try also to start the process."
