Trace Exhibition
Eight artists have been brought together for Trace, which showcases a series of ceramics and works on paper. The exhibition includes the delicate floral work of Kohl Tyler-Dunshea and the ceramics of Alma Proenca, who paints stunning blue details on crisp white ceramic objects.

Hej-hej Pop-up Shop
New clothing label Hej-hej (pronounced "hey-hey") has a knack for designing instant classics and their range is made from 100 per cent linen. The brand was created by friends Alice Isles and Kirsten Judd, who manage a long-distance working relationship from their respective bases of Auckland and Shanghai. This weekend they have a pop-up shop opening in Auckland to launch their new Autumn/Winter collection and their cosy styles will have you wanting to dress in linen throughout the colder months.

Here & Now Theatre Festival
Catch the next wave of fresh young talent when they perform at Auckland Theatre Company's youth theatre festival Here & Now. Tender explores young Aucklanders' views on relationships, while You First explores a dystopia where New Zealand has been battered by a massive storm and is described as "Black Mirror meets Hunger Games". Plant Magic x Satya Pop-up
As part of the art series Satellites, there is a South Indian vegetarian breakfast taking place this Saturday morning with Samrudh Akuthota of Satya Chai Lounge and Gemma Walsh of food blog Plant Magic. Upma, chai, dosa and mango lassi are on the menu, with proceeds supporting an event with social enterprise The Village Cafe in Mangere East.

Record Store Day
Celebrate all things vinyl this Saturday, as Auckland's best music stores celebrate Record Store Day, which shines a light on independent shops and their owners. Southbound Records, Real Groovy, Conch, Marbecks and more are set to mark the day with specials and limited releases, so head to your favourite store and show your appreciation.

Fresh Hop
Try exclusive creations made by New Zealand's top brewers, made with hops picked within the day. Brothers Beer, Galbraith's Alehouse, The Brewers Co-operative, The Lumsden Freehouse and Vultures' Lane will each host five brewers with transport available between each one, where you can try tasters of each one.
