“What makes something iconic?” This was the rhetorical question I asked myself while thumbing through archival issues of Viva, in search of shots that have contributed to the rich tapestry that is Viva Beauty. What I found were images that depict the timeless relevance, purpose and recognisability of the brand — memorable moments in time that reflected current trends, or pioneered new ones.
