The eyes certainly had it at Chanel’s spring/summer 2016 couture show, where graphic black liner led the beauty look. It was cosmetics as calligraphy with extended Egyptian-style strokes setting apart the usual flawless finished face and rosebud pink lips. Hair by Sam McKnight also added flourish to finesse with parted hair slicked back into ballooning crescent moon chignons.
To achieve the look at home, try these backstage tricks:
- Skin was prepped with La Solution 10 de Chanel followed by Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation and Healthy Glow Sheer Powder.
- Brows were defined and lids swept with Illusion D'Ombre in Moonlight Pink from the new LA Sunrise collection.
- The masterstrokes were made with Stylo Yeux Waterproof in Noir Instense and Rouge Coco Baume and Rouge Allure in Pensive used on lips.
