Afraid of going nude? The barely there makeup trend has been around for a while and now it has extended to our fingers and toes. Indeed, the new nail colour to paint right now isn’t really much of a colour at all.
Nude lacquers are ideal for everyday use and are very practical. They give nails a subtle lift and are especially great if you’re not in the mood for putting your hands on show. If you chip them it doesn’t matter and you don’t need to worry about whether your nails are going to clash with your outfit.
There is a vast selection of skin-hued polishes available. Selecting the right shade that suits you will depend on your skin colouring. For fair skin opt for a colour with a pinky base. For olive and darker skins go for beige shades with gold undertones. You can even add a little life to your flesh coloured polish by choosing ones with glitter, or a pearly reflection.
Sometimes, it’s the most subtle statements that have the most impact.
