There's only one Farmer J today, but that's all we need on The Country.
Hawkes Bay farmer Jeremy Rookes is fired up and he has two Government Ministers in his sights - Nick Smith and Nathan Guy.
Ministers Guy and Smith continue to "annoy" Rookes by not working together to end regional council rules and regulations that stop farmers being profitable.
Jeremy says the Minister for Primary Industries and the Environmental Minister need to join forces so the future of farming is financially safe and productive as well as environmentally friendly.
Rookes also has a go at Richard Branson who recently waded into New Zealand's water debate. The UK businessman's comments have got under Jeremy's skin and he reckons it seems like "everybody's got an opinion except farmers... everyone's against us".
