ASB senior rural economist Nathan Penny has said expectations are high that dairy, beef and lamb prices could all reach more than $6 per kilogram this year.
Penny calls it the ''magical triple 6''. The Country host Jamie Mackay labels it "The Trifecta", and often refers to Penny as "The Oracle". Unfortunately The Country's wool correspondent Jim Paterson has earned the nickname "The Grim Reaper" due to the dire performance of the wool market.
Could the alignment of dairy, beef and lamb prices finally mean that good things are coming for wool?
Have a listen to Jim Paterson's wool report in the audio clip above.
