How to enter:
Every day, nzherald.co.nz publishes writing from a range of thought-provoking commentators under the heading
Dialogue
.
To enter this competition, tell us which of our commentators wrote each of the following:
1. Just as the US has flouted multilateral international security rules by invading Iraq, so it flouts multilateral international trade rules: the recent illegal lamb levy and steel tariff are examples.
2. Twenty or so years ago, most of us were still referring to ourselves as "blacks". Being invisible in the mainstream media except when it came to bad news, we identified and engaged more strongly with black Americans and their causes than with our own. It was more hip to be black, to affect an American accent, to see black culture as our own.
3. If the aims and obligations of the Resource Management Act are good enough for you and me, then it's high time that Government departments set a good example and were made to follow the same rules.
