Computer software giant Microsoft is extending its offer of $5000 rewards for information leading to successful legal action against businesses using pirated software.
The company has set up a hotline to catch culprits and will also give an extra $5000 to a charity of choice for each case.
Microsoft NZ intellectual property manager Anna Lundon said the success of a campaign from October to December last year led to the company extending the offer for personal and charitable rewards until the end of next month.
