Microsoft has posted a higher quarterly profit, helped by robust sales of Windows 2000 and other corporate software, but warned revenue growth would slow in the current quarter.
The world's biggest software maker said revenue for its current September 30 quarter would be between $US6.0 billion ($15.1 billion) and $6.2 billion, down by 6 to 9 per cent from the June quarter, but up 3.5 to 7 per cent from a year earlier.
