Internet service provider ZFree has stopped taking on new customers.
The company has signed up a 250,000 customers for its free Internet service, which was launched 8 months ago.
Now the ISP says it has suspended new registrations to avoid putting too much pressure on its network capacity.
ZFree says it will focus its resources on encouraging existing customers to use its webmail services and new content on its website.
The company is owned by Clear Communications, which also operates Clear Net, a fee-based ISP.
