The wildcards have been confirmed for the US$10,000 ($14,600) ASB International women's tennis tournament, which starts with qualifying on Sunday and main-draw matches on Tuesday at the Renouf Tennis Centre in Wellington.
Former Wellingtonians Paula Marama, 21, and Lisa Wilkinson, 16, have been granted main-draw wildcards with Auckland 16-year-old Kairangi Vano and Canterbury's Ellen Barry, who while still 16 years old is ranked in the world's top 35 juniors.
Emma Hayman, 16, from Wanganui, Hannah Fick, 16, from Waikato and Luci Barlow, 19, another from Waikato, also have qualifying wildcards.
