Venus Williams will be given a preferential seeding at this year's Australian Open after the withdrawal of her sister Serena - and that's fine by top seed Justine Henin-Hardenne.
The current world No 11 will be promoted to third seed ahead of Jennifer Capriati and Lindsay Davenport following a recommendation by the Women's Tennis Association.
"Venus did something great for the WTA and she's won so many titles. She has the level to be the third seed," Henin-Hardenne said.
