NEW YORK - Today's day session at the US Open tennis championships has been cancelled because of rain.
The fourth-round matches between Marat Safin and Tommy Haas, James Blake and Tomas Berdych and Andy Murray and Nikolay Davydenko will now be played tomorrow.
Organisers still hope to complete the night session, with second seed Justine Henin-Hardenne due to face former champion Lindsay Davenport for a place in the semifinals.
Top seed Roger Federer is scheduled to play Frenchman Marc Giquel in a fourth-round match.
